ISOWEIR İZOÇATI TOP COAT, is an elastomeric resin based, liquid plastic, one component, single component topcoat sealant developed for roof coating plaster, forming a semi-liquid paste shaped, tixotropic, elastic, water impermeable layer when dry, highly resistant to different climatic conditions.
AREAS OF USE
ISOWEIR IZOÇATI applications as top coat protective coating,
Dilatation of surface joints and joints of building elements,
Concrete repair and protection of parapets,
Concrete, plaster, screed, cement board, galvanized, zinc, aluminum, PVC, polyester, Insulation of sloping or flat roofs and terraces covered with wood, Roof gutters, Insulation of eaves, chimney flackings, cracks and other details,
Insulation of exterior facades of buildings, Insulation of aluminum, wood and PVC frames against water and wind.
APPLICATION
Surface Preparation:
For applications on ISOWEIR İZOÇATI, the application surface must be free from dust, dirt and oil and the surface must be dry.
In other insulation applications, loose layers should be removed, small cracks and defects on the surface can be corrected with ISOWEIR WATER SHUTOFF mixed with fine washed sand in a ratio of 1 to 3 and made into a paste.
Before application, horizontal and vertical surfaces must be primed with "ISOWEIR FIXATOR" primer, leaving no open areas.
FIXATOR can be applied by brush, roller or spray gun.
Felt must be applied on parapet corners, light shafts, chimney flashing, bridging cracks, vertical and horizontal intersections in pool insulations.
Surfaces exposed to pedestrian and freight traffic are recommended to be covered with a protective coating material such as screed and ceramic tiles.
Product Preparation and Application:
The product is ready to use, no thinning is required.
Mix well before use.
In the applications to be made on ISOWEIR İZOÇATI roof coating plaster, if ISOWEIR İZOÇATI is applied in sufficient thickness and homogeneously according to the instructions, it is sufficient to apply 1 coat of ISOWEIR İZOÇATI TOP COAT.
If you notice surface defects and application errors in the plaster application,
we recommend applying a 2nd coat.
It is applied on all surfaces in 2 coats provided that there is no open area, waiting for the required drying time between the coats and applied with a brush or roller in other applications.
Since the product is water-based, it dries with the removal of the water inside.
For this reason, the drying time shortens as the temperature increases.
Points to be Considered:
Eyes should be protected during the application.
It is recommended to wear gloves.
In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with plenty of water and soap.
In case of contact with eyes, consult a doctor.
FEATURES, ADVANTAGES:
The elastic insulating dry film layer is highly resistant to ultraviolet radiation.
It forms a seamless, watertight, high strength layer.
It is resistant to continuous water contact.
It does not harden or fade over time.
It prevents water ingress with its water repellency feature.
Weather Fastness(1-5):Value 5
Elastic insulation has an exceptionally flexible structure.
It was observed in the tests that there was no tearing and rupture in the film layer even at double coating of its own length.
It is highly resistant to abrasion.
Non-ignitable, self-extinguishing when exposed to a hot flame without spreading the flame.
Thanks to this feature, it meets the definition of “fire retardant coatings”.
It is resistant to all climatic conditions in a wide temperature range.
