İZOTEMEL

ISOWEIR IZOTEMEL is a bitumen, cement-free, structurally flexible monoblock (no joints) foundation insulation plaster.

AREAS OF USE

  • It can be used on all concrete surfaces,
  • Wood,
  • Aerated gypsum board,
  • Concrete board,
  • Ceramic and natural stone.

APPLICATION

Surface Preparation:

  • Adherence reducing coatings such as mold oil, grease, paint should be cleaned from the surface.
  • Drill holes must be filled.
  • Corners and sharp turns should be rounded (by chamfering etc...).
  • Fractures, gaps and deep cracks should be repaired.
  • After the concrete surfaces are mechanically cleaned from free particles, 100-200 gr ISOWEIR FIXATOR per m2 should be applied to the entire surface with a brush, roller or paint gun depending on the absorbency of the surface.

Product Preparation and Application:

  • The product is ready to use, no thinning is required.
  • Mix well before use.
  • ISOWEIR IZOTEMEL is applied on all surfaces in 2 coats, provided that there is no open area, with a steel trowel, waiting for the required drying time between coats.
  • As a topcoat, a single coat of ISOWEIR IZOTEMEL topcoat in the color of the applied ISOWEIR IZOTEMEL is applied with a roller.
  • Wait a minimum of 2 hours between coats of ISOWEIR IZOTEMEL depending on the air temperature.
  • Since the product is water-based, it dries with the removal of the water inside.
  • For this reason, the drying time shortens as the temperature increases.
  • Points to be Considered: Eyes should be protected during the application.
  • It is recommended to wear gloves.
  • In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with plenty of water and soap.
  • In case of contact with eyes, consult a doctor.

ÖZELLİKLER ve AVANTAJLAR:

  • Due to the special binder used in its production, it shows very high resistance to the corrosive effects of natural conditions.
  • Therefore, there is no need for additional systems to protect the insulation and therefore no need for additional costs.
  • It has very high alkali resistance.
  • It does not dissolve in water after drying, not affected by heat and cold.
  • It prevents deformation that may occur at any point from reaching the other surface
  • Non-ignitable, self-extinguishing when exposed to a hot flame without spreading the flame.
  • Thanks to this feature, it meets the definition of “fire retardant coatings”.
