It is a water-based, one-component flexible contact adhesive.

AREAS OF USE

  • Insulation of air conditioning ducts, ventilation ducts with rubber sheet,
  • Rubber pipe insulation applications,
  • Tank insulation applications with rubber sheet,
  • Bonding of synthetic rubber based insulation materials.

APPLICATION

Surface Preparation:

  • Application surfaces should be cleaned from dirt, dust, oil and free particles by chemical and mechanical methods.

Product Preparation and Application:

  • The product is ready to use in its packaging.
  • Thinning is not performed.
  • It should be mixed thoroughly before use. Avoid application in areas exposed to strong sunlight and wind.
  • The ideal
  • application environment should be between 20°C - 30°C and humidity should not exceed 70%.
  • The adhesive should be applied with a brush or roller on both surfaces in a thin and homogeneous layer, leaving no open areas.
  • It should then be left to dry for a while.
  • 12 - 60 minutes depending on ambient temperature and humidity.
  • After slightly drying, once both surfaces appear transparent, the pieces to be bonded should be tightly joined.
  • Here, it is very important to apply the adhesive on both surfaces.
  • Because in some applications, adhesive is applied only on one surface.
  • This process makes it difficult for the material to adhere and weakens the strength.
  • Applying adhesive to both surfaces will increase the value and durability of the insulation and create compatible surfaces.
  • The adhesive reaches its full bond strength after approximately 72 hours, depending on weather and humidity conditions.
  • The system must not be operated before this period expires and self-adhesive tape or protective coatings must not be applied during this period.
