ISOWEIR ZEEPSON LAK is a double component, solvent-free epoxy based, polyamide resin cured coating material.
AREAS OF USE
It is used in industrial plants,
Metal structures,
Etrochemical plants, protection of decks and wooden parts of boats above water,
Ecid, paper, sugar and similar chemical plants,
Water treatment plants,
Coating of concrete and metal surfaces in the food industry to provide water impermeable environments.
APPLICATION
Surface Preparation:
Concrete surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned, dust and loose particles should be removed with a rotating steel or vacuum cleaner.
The scraped surface should be cleaned with dry air.
For wooden surfaces, the surface must be dry, clean and sanded.
Metal surfaces should be cleaned from dust, oil, dirt, rust, old paint residues.
The dryness and adequacy of the surface preparation should be checked before application.
Product Preparation and Application:
The mixing ratio should be 10 kg of Component A and 5 kg of Component B by weight.
Component A should be mixed with a low speed mixer until homogenized.
Component B should then be added to component A and the mixture should be mixed at about 100 rpm for at least 2 minutes.
As the amount of contents you are mixing increases, you may need to increase your mixing time or mixing speed.
As soon as you start mixing, there will be a cloudy appearance in the system at first, and as the mixing continues, it will start to become transparent again.
After opening the package, ISOWEIR ZEEPSON LAK is homogenized by thorough mixing, preferably with a drill motor, and mixed with the second component at the specified ratio.
Points to be Considered:
Eyes should be protected during the application.
It is recommended to wear gloves.
